The title ‘Master of Science in Orthodontics’ is given to a dentist who has deepened their knowledge of orthodontics through a three-year postgraduate training programme. The title is awarded by Danube University Krems (Austria) following successful completion of the master’s exam.
A membership in the «Austrian Board of Orthodontists» (ABO) is the highest national orthodontic qualification. To become an ABO member, a comprehensive practical and theoretical examination must be passed in accordance with strict regulations. The examinations are conducted by a national and international committee of experts.
